Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer. Kohl’s Conversations for the Cure is an initiative that encourages women to open up about their experiences and encourage others to get screened. This video shows the incredible power these conversations can have from the point of view of a women who discovered her breast cancer after her sister had a close call.

We pre-interviewed Jen and edited a rough version of her story from the phone recording. After scouting her home, we meticulously planned out each shot to provide a metaphorical backdrop behind her powerful story before recording the final video and audio.
